1/23/2015Hood and smooth, but the space between and the "easiness" of getting to them is in debate. It took me many deaths to get past the first conveyor belt was unreal and I'm trying to get past checkpoint Zeus but that's a pain. Maybe it's just me or the game but I think the first few levels as I guess they can be called are a bit difficult. But good game otherwise. Oh, and I also like the fact that in the beginning it explains to you why you're the only one there with no backup or other team mates, as opposed to many other games like this.
1/2/2015When is the next update coming out?!
12/17/2014The controls are wonky and unresponsive, but I get a strong Metroid/MegaMan vibe from this. Didn't get a single new weapon after like three checkpoints, so that was disheartening. 3/5 could be worse, could be better.
12/9/2014It's a shoot-at-enemies everything's-an-enemy platformer. You're a tank. The tank can jump. There's really not much else you really need to know. :) Well, ok. It's a large game with lots of zones. The aim-and-fire button is well-designed (dragging up/down adjusts your weapon's angle, tapping fires). The controls are responsive and simple, which is really priority #1 for a platformer. The platforms/backdrop graphics are crisp, sparse, and simple, like NES Super Mario quality. The audio is nothing special. You can get items, etc. (Maybe Super C is a better comparison.) Eventually, like most pretty-good platformers, it gets kinda boring. Regardless, like most pretty-good platformers, it's fun to play for well more than $0.99 worth of time. :) Note: The game also has a leaderboard, as well as, sort of arbitrarily, a built-in chat system.
10/21/2014Good shortcut to just chat with my friends in HOL and DB1 name:DeathTheKid
9/23/2014Shooter sensitivity sucks movement keeps messing up. With amazingly accurate "birds" that instant kill you this game is the worst, but could be better if things were reconfigured
9/23/2014Great concept, just restarts you at too low of a health level when you die, add a health or two and it will not be such a grueling task to recover from a death
