    I have to say, as much as I love yelp, this app is pretty lame. In fact, they should be ashamed of this thing. It doesn't give any access to your yelp account, so no bookmarks or friends... And you can forget about drafting reviews. And it doesn't support even basic features of wp8, most notably pinning locations to your home screen. It's barely a competitor to local scout.

    The nearby feature is outdated ...never refreshes correctly. Yelp should be ashamed of putting out such a limited app. No ability to login either ...sucks! UPDATE: App is still bad post Mango. C'mon Yelp...you guys are pathetic...no update for almost a year now? I used to write reviews regularly in Yelp but I am stopping because you idiots won't let me do it via WP7. Hope you get run out of town by Google Places and urbanspoon

    The foundation is there and it is great for finding POI nearby as other reviewers noted, but it would be nice to get updated for WP8 with additional features. Live tile would be great, maybe displaying hot and new based on current location?

    Not as good as in ios or in android. Filter made in wp8 really sucks.

    Better than nothing. Can't login to your account. No bookmarks etc. Not taking full advantage of Windows platform. Nice that you can pin what's hot and new.
