UPDATE: As many have stated, their buttons on the remote no longer work (ie A, B, X, Y). Mine didn't work either but I was finally able to fix it, by re-doing the TV & OneGuide setup in the Settings menu of the Xbox One. Once I redone that, and re-synced all of my devices (ie my Cable Box and Samsung TV), the buttons began working perfectly again. You also might try changing the Power Options to Energy Saver instead of Instant On. So hopefully this will also help anyone else having the same issues as I did. It worked for me. Still would be nice for MS to update and improve things, cuz this was really irritating. But I will give it 5 stars again, as I no longer have any issues because it is an excellent app when working right. As of now, 2 stars cuz the remote is now useless. Buttons don't work, can't control anything. Worked flawlessly until the update with the new remote control layout w/ separate tv controls. Really sucks as I used this constantly. Once fixed, I'll update my review and rating.

******** app doesn't even connect to my "Next Gen" console... Tried every troubleshoot that is prompted when I cannot connect but yet the app doesn't work... Waste of internet space if you ask me.

Would be really cool but none of the companion apps work or even exist. Very disappointing when your apps won't work on a windows phone but your friends with android have all apps working and available. I meen seriously Microsoft showed off all the cools things you can do on the app but it doesn't even work for their own phones. Fix your **** microsoft
