WPodder is a podcast player that supports both audio and video podcasts. Save your favourite feeds by searching from gpodder.net, browsing through the gpodder.net top list or by importing them from your gpodder.net account. Any feeds that can be exported to OPML (example: Google reader) can be imported to WPodder by first importing the OPML to your gpodder.net account. Download episodes for later (Wi-Fi) or stream them right away through any internet connection. Downloading of episodes is done in background so you don't have to wait for them to finish, just start the download and episode will be downloaded when suitable internet connection is available. WPodder doesn't need to be running for downloads to finish. Wpodder remembers the position for unfinished episodes so you can easily continue playback right were you left off (only audio). Audio playback is integrated with universal playback control so you can browse the web or lock your phone while you are listening. You can also pause/play the playback without the need to start WPodder. Wpodder has a clear and smooth UI. Lists of your saved feeds, unfinished episodes and new episodes are shown right on the main view of Wpodder so it is easy find the information you are looking for. Wpodder will automatically refresh your feeds while your phone is charged and a Wi-Fi connection is available. You can see the count of new episodes from pinned WPodder tile. Automatic updating can be turned on/off for any of your feeds. Try-version of WPodder comes with following limitations: - You can save only two feeds (unlimited in full version) - Stream playback is disabled - Automatic feed updates are disabled

4/17/2013Best podcast app I have used so far

3/8/2013Doesn't have all my favorite podcasts and gave me a bunch of playback errors. Not worth a buck.

3/1/2013This is the best I've used so far. Tried several, but wpodder is the most consistent and bug free. Has never lost my place in a cast, the UI is intuitive, and the price is very reasonable. Definitely try it if you are looking for a robust pod catcher.

2/7/2013I continue to totally love this podcast app.... I use it every day... Love the options to simply stream or download... And the unfinished tab/ability to stop and start where I left off is awesome and a life saver!!!! Thanks!

2/5/2013It's good enough. If the podcast is lager than 20MB, it wont download over cellular, only WiFi. That's a real bummer...

1/23/2013The best UX and podcast catalogue.

1/15/2013A few complaints: The feed list is not as comprehensive as other apps that supposedly use the same dataset. Some of the feeds do not sync successfully. There does not appear to be an auto-download of the latest podcast, which means you have to manually download each podcast. In addition to the auto download, I would like an auto delete as well. Right now, I would recommend Podcatcher ahead of this podcast app.

1/10/2013Good app, provides functionality that's missing from wp8. However it is buggy. Two problems I found are it skips pretty often when playing a podcast. Haven't noticed skips on other music apps. Second every once in a while I'll get an error saying it can't load podcast.

1/3/2013Almost works. Search didn't return good results, then just failed outright. Will not play all downloaded episodes in a row, just stops after first.
