Bringing you a new english word each day along with all of its definitions and proper pronunciation, Word of the Day is the perfect app for those of you that strive to enrich their vocabulary, one word at a time.

Using basic gestures such as a left of right swipe on the screen, you can view yesterdays or tomorrows word of the day; by shaking the device, a random word will be displayed.

If by some chance you can’t pronounce a certain word (it can happen to anyone), we’ve designed a small button that when pressed, it will articulate that word and thus teaching you how to correctly use it.

We’re also giving you the ability to save your favorite words, so that you can come back to them at any given time. Having a small dictionary in your pocket is never a bad idea!
