The most popular Android wikipedia voice app (Voice Wiki) coming to windows phone 8! Voice of Wikipedia turns the online wikipedia database into an audio book. It enables you to search wikipedia using your voice and listen to the articles. It also support saving articles for offline reading. Voice Command feature: From unlocked screen, tap start button, and say the following supported voice command: 1. "wikipedia, search". Then when prompt, say the key words you like to search for, e.g. "seattle". 2. "wikipedia, read article seattle". Suppose you have an offline article entry "seattle", it will read it out to you. 3. "wikipedia, random". A random article is shown to you. Limitations: Currently windows phone 8 does not allow text to speech function to run in background mode(when the phone's screen is off). Therefore when reading articles, this application will prevent the screen from turning off. When finished reading current articles, the screen will be turned off.

2/1/2013The best Wikipedia app for windows phone! Voice command works great, and it's fun to listen to the articles! Sometimes I use it as a dictionary to find a term in a different language.
