Description Typr is a simple, cloud-connected writing app that syncs seamlessly across your Windows Phone and Windows 8 Devices. Simple The point of this app is to move all the clutter found in traditional text-editing apps out of the way, leaving a blank canvas for your imagination to fill. Typr is all about being simple. Cloud-Connected Typr uses Microsoft’s cloud-storage solution, Skydrive. So whenever you press the ‘Save’ button, a copy is saved on your computer and then uploaded to Skydrive, where it can then be accessed on another computer as long as your logged into your account. Put simply, when you save your work on this phone, it will automatically be transferred and updated on all your other Windows Phones and Windows 8 computers that have this app installed! As an example, say I want to type a note at my friends house. All I do is log in, type my message, and save it. Now that note you wrote is available on all of your other devices. The trial is full-featured with ads.

2/19/2013Trial not working

2/17/2013Still can't get it to work. Tap + to add a note...nothing happens. Then can't exit app with back button. This type of low quality app diminishes wp8 as a platform. I don't mind the $1. Do mind the time it took to try to make it work.

2/9/2013You need to test your app at scale. For instance, try adding enough lines to the editor's textbox that the textbox is larger than the screen. There are three bugs here that you haven't addressed. Second, if you click folders to go to the "open a file page", then tapping back repeatedly takes you in a loop--you can never leave the app using the back key. It's horrifying.

2/9/2013Takes too long to save and open a file.
