Treasure Tag from Microsoft requires the Lumia Cyan software release and a Treasure Tag accessory (sold separately). Once you have set up the Treasure Tags, your phone will use audio and visual information to make sure you do not misplace your keys, lose track of your gym bag or forget where you left your car again. Simply attach your tags to the things you treasure most and install this app on your phone, then if you leave something behind the Treasure Tag will help you find it. How it works: - Attach Treasure Tags to your important belongings - Connect tags to your phone via Bluetooth Smart - Your phone alerts you if you’re about to leave something behind - Audio alerts mean you can use your phone to find a tag, or a tag to find your phone (with tags that support this feature) - Use Maps to find your belongings - Pin your favourite tags to Start as live tiles for quick access and status updates - You can connect up to four Treasure Tags to your phone at any one time - Treasure Tag batteries last up to six months and are easy to replace Treasure Tags require a Bluetooth Smart connection and a Lumia phone running the Lumia Cyan software release. Please note, this app will not work on Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview release. To get the latest software release for your phone, go to Settings > Phone Update. You can also find out more about the Lumia Cyan software update online at nokia.com/lumia-update. You can find out more about the Treasure Tag accessory at nokia.com/global/products/accessory/ws-2/
10/25/2014**** keeps crashing
10/24/2014Working on a 8.1 cyan flawlessly
10/17/2014If you have a 2 way car alarm remote on your key chain the treasure tag will lose connection frequently due to frequency interference if both tag and car remote are placed nearby.
10/12/2014Sometimes it rings even when the tag is near, seems like the Bluetooth connection isn't stable.
10/9/2014Works great. I think it would be nice to add custom images for the tags. Using on my Lumia 920.
10/9/2014I like this concept but not sure how I feel about the loose connection it has. Even if the phone is in my pocket or on the table and the tag is less than a few inches away horizontally and/or vertically, my tag alerts me that its been disconnected. While I'm in class. As a result, I've had to turn it off during class which defeats the purpose in case if i accidentally left something with my tag there. It also has a varied distance or time frame before it realizes I am very far away from the tag. Uninstalled and returning.
10/8/2014Concept is cool, execution not so. Keep getting messages all day saying "Did you forget your tag." while the tag is in the same pocket! I had to turn off the active notifications (sounds, toast notifications) or else it would drive me crazy. I'm also not seeing the map either. Nokia / Microsoft please fix this ASAP. I have 1 Treasure Tag, Lumia 925.
10/1/2014It is not working, or refreshing position every few hours, at the end wasting money. I was stupid to purchase tag.
10/1/2014Very nice for not losing your keys, although I'm a bit disappointed because I thought you can get the tag to make a sound if you're looking for it, but that's not possible with the mini. But I guess that's my fault for not reading the specs thoroughly 😞
