Treasure Tag from Microsoft requires the Lumia Cyan software release and a Treasure Tag accessory (sold separately).
Once you have set up the Treasure Tags, your phone will use audio and visual information to make sure you do not misplace your keys, lose track of your gym bag or forget where you left your car again.

Simply attach your tags to the things you treasure most and install this app on your phone, then if you leave something behind the Treasure Tag will help you find it.

How it works:
- Attach Treasure Tags to your important belongings
- Connect tags to your phone via Bluetooth Smart
- Your phone alerts you if you’re about to leave something behind
- Audio alerts mean you can use your phone to find a tag, or a tag to find your phone (with tags that support this feature)
- Use Maps to find your belongings
- Pin your favourite tags to Start as live tiles for quick access and status updates
- You can connect up to four Treasure Tags to your phone at any one time
- Treasure Tag batteries last up to six months and are easy to replace

Treasure Tags require a Bluetooth Smart connection and a Lumia phone running the Lumia Cyan software release. Please note, this app will not work on Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview release. To get the latest software release for your phone, go to Settings > Phone Update. You can also find out more about the Lumia Cyan software update online at You can find out more about the Treasure Tag accessory at

Really just too unstable. Tried it for 6 days. I've got 8.1 on 925 with Cyan. Works intermittently - lies right next to the phone whilst claiming it's disconnected - just to reconnect & repeat every 10 - 20 minutes. Also - during a VOIP call, guaranteed disconnection... Something needs an urgent update. I've switched mine off today. Until it gets updated, mark me down as disappointed.

Great when it works, but crashes often on opening and then can't be used again unless I reboot my phone

Microsoft created 8.1 and appears to be the publisher of this app, and has waited an eternity to release the official 8.1 so they deserve the 1 star I gave them for not supporting 8.1 developer preview or releasing 8.1 in a timely manner.

Stop rating it negatively of you're on an unsupported platform. Tools. It's not meant for developer edition yet.
