Based upon the most popular Stopwatch for Windows Phone, Timer 8.4 provides millisecond accuracy for timing any activity. Updated for Windows Phone 8.0 and 8.1 the Timer provides support for speech recognition as well as the updated Tile sizes.

Designed for Windows Phone 8.0 and 8.1, the Windows Phone Timer 8.4 allows you to effortlessly switch between applications while ensuring timing is accurate. Resume existing timer sessions by simply clicking the application live tile again!

Windows Phone Timer 8.4 places you in control, allowing you to disable the operating system lock screen while timing events, disable the reset warning, change the background image, or disable the background entirely.

Windows Phone Timer 8.4 also fully supports both the Dark and Light themes of your phone. With version 8.4 you also have the choice of 20 different audio alerts for when the timer completes.

Build resolves several issues related to running on 1080P devices such as the Lumia 1520 as well as introducing a new tile design.

Doesn't seem to work well in the background with the Nokia Lumia 928. At least I know the alarm won't sound if something else is going on- I.e., if it's being multitasked in the background.

Works well. Wish I could remove the background image

    Nice app.

Works relatively well at its (simple) task, but interface is unnecessarily confusing, e.g., the start icon looks like reset, and the reset looks like cancel. The labels for the buttons aren't close enough to help, and don't do anything if tapped. The time remaining display is labeled "time elapsed," which is the exact opposite. But it does provide basic timing functionality. Pretty clearly designed by a programmer.
