Snes8x is a Super Nintendo emulator for Windows Phone 8. The code is based on Snes9x, a free and portable SNES emulator. The emulator contains one game that is freely available.

1.1.2:
- Improved stability for ROM import and import and export of save games.

1.1.3:
- Fixed timing for PAL games.

1.1.4:
- Added an option to set up frame skip. Use this if you experience performance or sound issues.
- Added turbo mode (triggered using the camera button while playing).
- Added a help page to answer frequent questions.

1.2.0:
- Restored support for large tiles (was accidentally removed in the last update).
- Added a virtual analogue stick and an option in the input settings to switch between analogue stick and the old 8-way D-Pad.
- Added a slider to adjust the deadzone of the analogue stick.
- Added an option in the video settings to scale the size of the display output.

- Minor bug fixes
- Added an option in the input settings to assign the L-, R- or Turbo-Button to the camera button.

- Added confirmation dialogs to load and save state.
- Added an option in general settings to show/hide confirmation dialogs.
- After many user requests, the order of the app bar buttons has been changed. Load state is now on the far left to avoid hitting it by mistake instead of save state.
- Added an option to general settings to automatically increment the save state slot after saving.

1.2.3:
- Added an option to the ROMs context menu to delete the SRAM file.
- Added an option to the ROMs context menu to manage save states (supports only delete for now).
- Added an option to the general settings to create snapshots as shown on tiles manually. If the option is activated, the appbar in the emulator has a new entry to create a snapshot.

    Works fine, d-pad can get frustrating but I can't blame the app for that. On my 920 though there is a ridiculous issue with battery drain and heat. The phone often gets so hot that the game starts slowing down and stuttering so I have to pause and exit the app to let things cool down. And even when I have the phone plugged in, the battery STILL drains. What is going on with this app that it destroys the battery so readily??
