Smart Resize isn't your average image resizing app. Our content-aware scale algorithm differentiates between the less important and more important parts of the image, cutting out the background first and leaving the main subjects intact. Did your camera just take a rectangular picture, but you need to upload a square picture to a social network? Cropping won't work? Then content-aware scale is for you. 15/02/2014 : Workflow re-haul, speed improvements, bug fixes. 27/10/2013 : Add option to open the app from the picture app for editing and option to share smart-resized pictures directly from the app. 23/10/2013 : Fix startup crash on some of the newer Lumia devices.
5/16/2014Wanted an app like Instasize but no luck. Needs a simple option to convert to square size for instagram, adding whitespace so that a pic doesn't need to be cropped to be square.
4/26/2014Distorts image. Doesn't compensate for reduced size. Turns good shots into junk. It would reduce a circle into an oval. Terrible.
4/25/2014Won't get past tutorial.... Scam
4/14/2014Won't let me get past the tutorial.
3/23/2014Good app if you want only to crop from rectangular shape to square shape
3/16/2014Works great on Lumia 925. Would like options to resize to some common sizes like 1:1, 3:2, etc.
2/8/2014Difficult sometimes but cool
1/14/2014After several attempts and fails, I have concluded that this is useless and does not work. Lack of support and tutorial... Save your time and space... I uninstalled from my 1020
12/11/2013Good,but change logo
11/29/2013Seems interesting. May be good for someone who understands it well, but I don't think I get it even after the tutorial. Their example pic looks great when done. I should probably play around with it more but I don't think it will be useful to me. I tried to resize a photo and it basically took out the middle of the photo for me and pushed the two sides together. Doesn't seem like I will need it.
