    As far as this app goes on smartphones..WP8 is about the best I have used. I have it on an IPad,iPhone and on Android and it works by far the best on my Lumia920. Still a little laggy but works much better on this device then my others. The price is why I only gave it 4 stars. Way to expensive when u pay 200plus dollars for the slingbox.

    App works, but not perfect. Controls to change channels and read guide are too slow. Even on high speed internet. Other than that, it does work, I can watch tv just as advertised. If they can update this so make the controls and response to the cable box a little quicker i will probably increase the rating.

    To repeat what others have said, make sure your slingbox is supported before you buy this app!
