    Can you please update so it can run in background. I also need it to have voicemail functionality. Also, it should know whether I am making a Skype to Skype call or calling someone's cell/landline and not have me specify this everytime I try to make a call. Also ive noticed no one can hear me unless I have a headset or earplugs plugged in. The speakerphone function does not work either. It has been awhile since you have come out with update, please make these changes or else i will be forced to get and Android or Iphone, im giving you until 6/01/13 to fix.

    I don't need video call, I don't need voice call, I just need the basic to receive message and notify me reliably, but it CAN'T. Switched from Nokia N9 which has Skype integration working seamlessly on text and voice call and simultaneously with PC Skype. But the experience of Skype on Windows Phone 8 is a disaster, not to mention it can't eve run at background on Windows Phone 7.8

    Had to give one star as there is no option to have a zero star!!! MS should at least make it same like iOS an Android. This is good for nothing.

    I do not know why msft had to screw up this app? First of all it shows me online but does not deliver calls. Second the linking of contacts is a great idea but why in the hell does it have to set international calling on my local contacts who also have Skype? Finally, why some international contacts now require Skype credit when I am clearly trying to make a Skype user call? When msft fixes this garbage I might install it again. The single star is because I had to select aomething
