This app is a simple client for The Old Reader web-service. If you don't know what this service is about then you probably should not install this app, but in case you are interested this service is alternative version of already unsupported Google Reader. Basically it is RSS aggregation service, which stores your subscriptions and allows you to mark items as already read. It has rich web interface, but it is not adopted for mobile devices. That is why this app exists.

App displays items one by one in full view mode. You can navigate using buttons "Next" and "Previous". By default when you press button "Next" current item will be marked as read, but button "Leave as unread" overrides this functionality. Also, there is an option in Settings page that turns it off.
By default this app uses inverted theme but you can change this behavior in Settings page.
You can turn on top control bar, if it is more convenient for you to use buttons at the top of display.

In current version no social features are available, except for default WP8 share function.
Please note that this App use password authentication, so you should configure yourself a password on the Settings page at website before using it. Google Authentication is not supported by web-service API.

This app handles Old Reader better than the Old Reader app, it can at least get you to the embedded audio of podcasts. However, there is a big issue where feeds that are not in a subfolder have no list view so your only choice is All Feeds in a forward and back reading method. Surely that can be fixed?
