- A compatible mobile device 
- A compatible vehicle

OnStar RemoteLink offers an innovative way to connect to your vehicle. After downloading and registering the app, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC owners with an eligible 2010 model year or newer vehicle can use their mobile device to access real-time data from their vehicle and perform commands like unlocking doors remotely. 

An active OnStar Directions & Connections or Safe & Sound service plan is required to access most features. If you purchased 2014 OnStar equipped vehicle and use RemoteLink just once during your OnStar trial or consecutive subscription, you’ll retain access to the Key Fob Services—Remote Start, Remote Door Lock and Remote Horn and Lights features—for five years from the date of delivery. Key Fob Services do not include any emergency or other OnStar services. Subsequent owners will be able to activate the remaining term by calling OnStar at 1.888.4.ONSTAR. 

This application will collect device location and vehicle location and approximate GPS speed each time you use it. You can restrict our access to, or collection of, your device’s location by disabling the location features of your device or by not using the features of the app that require location information. It is not possible to restrict the access to, or collection of, vehicle location information or approximate GPS speed when you are using the app.  

If you dispose of, sell, or transfer your vehicle, or your lease ends, you must notify us immediately at 1.888.4.ONSTAR to terminate your OnStar Plan or Remote Key Fob Services for that specific vehicle, and uninstall and cease to use the app.

    Was super happy to find this on Windows Phone but sadly it does not compete to the version on iPhone due to the slow and buggy interface. I also have to accept the EULA everytime and then hope it will respond. Please update and fix!!

    Will probably be a 5 once I don't have to agree to the Eula everytime. Once I do it is neat not sure how helpful or useful yet but worth some playtime.

    Why do I have to accept the license agreement every time I open the app? Also the UI needs a face lift.

    Please fix for wp8.1. Real pain to go all the way through eulas everytime.

    Extremely slow and the functionality has collapsed since the WP 8.1 update. Just opening the app and accessing its features can take forever and a day, even if you're not sending commands to your vehicle, and that was before the update. Having to accept the terms of the EULA every time I open the app since updating to WP 8.1 gets absolutely maddening. Another glitch since updating to 8.1 is that the Dashboard does not open anymore...period. Also, why isn't there the ability to change the radio station, adjust climate controls and exterior lights from the app before I get in my vehicle? This should be no problem for a 10th Gen Impala with almost everything touch screen and very few to no static switches and knobs. This app is slow and not functional enough. All fluff. Fix it, GM. This is a potentially indispensable 5 star app that needs more attention and functionality.
