To connect your vehicle to RemoteLink, make sure you have:
- An active OnStar subscription
- A compatible mobile device
- A compatible vehicle
For help installing RemoteLink, go to

OnStar RemoteLink offers an innovative way to connect to your vehicle. After downloading and registering the app, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC owners with an eligible 2010 model year or newer vehicle can use their mobile device to access real-time data from their vehicle and perform commands like unlocking doors remotely.

An active OnStar Directions & Connections or Safe & Sound service plan is required to access most features. If you purchased 2014 OnStar equipped vehicle and use RemoteLink just once during your OnStar trial or consecutive subscription, you’ll retain access to the Key Fob Services—Remote Start, Remote Door Lock and Remote Horn and Lights features—for five years from the date of delivery. Key Fob Services do not include any emergency or other OnStar services. Subsequent owners will be able to activate the remaining term by calling OnStar at 1.888.4.ONSTAR.

This application will collect device location and vehicle location and approximate GPS speed each time you use it. You can restrict our access to, or collection of, your device’s location by disabling the location features of your device or by not using the features of the app that require location information. It is not possible to restrict the access to, or collection of, vehicle location information or approximate GPS speed when you are using the app.

If you dispose of, sell, or transfer your vehicle, or your lease ends, you must notify us immediately at 1.888.4.ONSTAR to terminate your OnStar Plan or Remote Key Fob Services for that specific vehicle, and uninstall and cease to use the app.

Privacy Statement:
• Wi-Fi Hotspot control – Allows you to easily manage your vehicle’s built-in Wi-Fi Hotspot, including turning it on and off or creating and editing your hotspot name (SSID) or password.
• Vehicle Locate – Pinpoint your vehicle’s current location on a map at the push of a button.

There is a new update for the other phone OS's. Please take serious as customers. This current version seems to be done by an unpaid intern.

Its very good and I recommended to all

The new update is such a step backwards. I can't see my "dashboard" information and do not even see the remote menu on my Droid. On my Nokia, I can't see the remote start feature anymore. Wish I would have received the update before I renewed.

Most features don't work anymore. This app is starting to suck.

The fact that GM/OnStar is even thinking about Windows Phone users is worthy of applause in and of itself. Some auto manufacturers have Infotainment systems in their vehicles built by Microsoft with no Windows Phone companion app. A few simple suggestions to improve the user experience, if they are at all possible: - Ability to pin remote features to your start screen for faster access. - Push notifications for unlocked doors, popped trunk, engine cranked, remote start timeout warning. - Enter/exit Valet Mode. - Activate/Deactivate interior and exterior lighting when using remote start or lock/unlock. - Some sort of enhanced Bluetooth capability. Like the ability to unlock your doors or pop your trunk if MyLink detects your device's Bluetooth is on and in proximity.

Worked fine for first two weeks, then LOCATE MY VEHICLE stopped cooperating. Had to uninstall then reinstall the app. The good news is that app works much better on my WP 8.1 than the Android version on my wife's phone.

Excellent. Just keep up the work on improving the app experience.

    The app won't open

Chevy Equinox 2010 not supported using this app. Please look into as I love this vehicle and my windows phone.

It works. It's slow and ugly. The app randomly logs you out making you re-agree to terms of service and log in.
