To connect your vehicle to RemoteLink, make sure you have: - An active OnStar subscription - A compatible mobile device - A compatible vehicle For help installing RemoteLink, go to onstar.com/mobile. OnStar RemoteLink offers an innovative way to connect to your vehicle. After downloading and registering the app, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC owners with an eligible 2010 model year or newer vehicle can use their mobile device to access real-time data from their vehicle and perform commands like unlocking doors remotely. An active OnStar Directions & Connections or Safe & Sound service plan is required to access most features. If you purchased 2014 OnStar equipped vehicle and use RemoteLink just once during your OnStar trial or consecutive subscription, you’ll retain access to the Key Fob Services—Remote Start, Remote Door Lock and Remote Horn and Lights features—for five years from the date of delivery. Key Fob Services do not include any emergency or other OnStar services. Subsequent owners will be able to activate the remaining term by calling OnStar at 1.888.4.ONSTAR. This application will collect device location and vehicle location and approximate GPS speed each time you use it. You can restrict our access to, or collection of, your device’s location by disabling the location features of your device or by not using the features of the app that require location information. It is not possible to restrict the access to, or collection of, vehicle location information or approximate GPS speed when you are using the app. If you dispose of, sell, or transfer your vehicle, or your lease ends, you must notify us immediately at 1.888.4.ONSTAR to terminate your OnStar Plan or Remote Key Fob Services for that specific vehicle, and uninstall and cease to use the app. Privacy Statement: https://www.onstar.com/web/portal/privacy
10/29/2013Works great, but no vehicle location or it would be 5 stars
10/23/2013Similar to the android version. The app is very plain but is functional. There are no cool effects or transitions here. The information that is provided is entry level. Overall the OnStar apps don't feel innovative or complete... And surely the apps don't exude confidence in GM's quality or programming capability. Overall a neutral 3 on the 1-5 raring scale. 1 being worthless and 5 being innovation and perfection.
10/22/2013The app isnt slow, Onstar is slow. I'd give 5 stars, but if you close the app while a command is running, it will get stuck on In Progress. I've had to uninstall and reinstall to fix.
10/22/2013Got this for my Chevy volt. Great when it connects. But most of the time it just takes forever to update and then stalls. Garbage software, don't bother.
10/19/2013It looks like they somehow copied and pasted the iPhone app into the windows market place. App works funny and after starting my car One time and despite restarting my phone the button has never stopped displaying "In Progress". Meaning I can not start my car again. I gave as many stars as I feel effort went into making the app
10/18/2013Love it! Thanks for the support.
10/18/2013Great to have it for Windows Phone. Noticed a bug, will sound horn but won't stop horn afterwards.
10/18/2013Finally glad that this app has made it to Windows Phone. I reactivated OnStar as soon as this was available. Now I can get more out of my GM vehicle!
10/13/2013Seems helpful but is very slow... not useful.
10/10/2013Final windows phone users have onstar app. I wish you could be little faster with refreshing but other than that awesome
