Podcatcher is your mobile podcast client designed to make consuming podcasts as enjoyable as possible. With podcast episode streaming, continuous playback and video playback!

Updated in 2.3.0.0:
 * Continuous playback from one episode to another for a subscription.
 * Change to next podcast episode from lock screen (if continuous playback is enabled).
 * Continue playback for streaming episodes
 * Bug fixes.

You can subscribe to podcasts in four convenient ways; search for podcasts using the built-in search functionality, select podcasts from the list of popular podcasts provided by gPodder.net, give the podcast address manually or import your subscriptions from your gPodder.net account or from an OPML file.

Episodes can be listen to right from the episode listing using the built-in podcast player featuring bookmarks to continue with the podcast later on! You can download the episodes for offline listening or stream the episodes for immediate listening. Audio podcasts are played in the background so you can enjoy them even if Podcatcher is not running and control the playback from the lock screen.

You can download new episodes either manually from the episode listing or set auto-download for a subscription so that all new episodes are automatically downloaded to your device. Podcatcher also includes automatic cleanup of your podcast library, so it won't grow too big or old episodes pile up.

The free trial version of Podcatcher is fully featured, but is limited to two podcast subscriptions.

    Great feature set but very buggy. Constantly crashes on my lumia. No integration with the media center. Still has a good search function and the ability to add podcasts via URL

    It is a decent app as it will download podcasts and play them, but needs some work. First off, the metro UI is way overdone. Trying to find simple play controls can be difficult. The logic around whether a podcast has been downloaded is buggy. And most frustrating is that it constantly loses its place in a podcast and starts over from the beginning. I am using the HTC 8X

    Works great for the URL-only podcast I follow.

    Saved me from returning my new WP8 when I discovered the terrible built-in podcast support. One minor issue: if I pause a podcast and lock the phone I have to navigate back to that podcast to continue. Would be nice if it was just 'there' when I go back to the app.

    Too many bugs - forgets last played location, crashes, does not download in background. Developer helpful but too many issues - Nokia 920

    One of the better podcast applications. Wish it had a pervasive way to always access what is currently playing. Also, for the more hardcore podcast listeners, I wish there were options to listen at 1.5x, 2.0x, 2.5x, and 3.0x speeds.

    Promising. Needs individual feed and more download settings.

    I loved this at first. But it constantly crashes and I've had to uninstall /reinstall 3 times. Also, if I pause a podcast when I'm not on wireless, most of the time it won't restart until I'm back on wireless. So, I start it in the car, pause, then can't restart. Very frustrating.
