Podcatcher is your mobile podcast client designed to make consuming podcasts as enjoyable as possible. With podcast episode streaming, play queue capability and video playback!

Updated in 2.5.1.0:
 * Greatly improves memory management for low-memory devices.
 * Faster response when launching the application.
 * Fixes crash when duplicate episodes were cleaned from the feed updates.

Updated in 2.5.0.0:
 * Adds a "Browse" view to browse through categories of podcasts to subscribe to.
 * Replaces "Recent" list with "Latest" list showing latest episodes within all subscriptions.
 * Launch performance improvements.
 * Fixes marking episodes as listened.
 * Other bug fixes.

You can subscribe to podcasts in four convenient ways; search for podcasts using the built-in search functionality, select podcasts from the list of popular podcasts provided by gPodder.net, give the podcast address manually or import your subscriptions from your gPodder.net account or from an OPML file.

Episodes can be listen to right from the episode listing using the built-in podcast player featuring bookmarks to continue with the podcast later on! You can download the episodes for offline listening or stream the episodes for immediate listening. Audio podcasts are played in the background so you can enjoy them even if Podcatcher is not running and control the playback from the lock screen.

You can download new episodes either manually from the episode listing or set auto-download for a subscription so that all new episodes are automatically downloaded to your device. Podcatcher also includes automatic cleanup of your podcast library, so it won't grow too big and old episodes pile up.

The free trial version of Podcatcher is fully featured, but is limited to two podcast subscriptions.

    Still the best podcast client, even with WP 8.1 reintroducing a podcast app from MSFT.

    I have had enough of this **** app! It has been 7 months since last update. It often take up to 20 seconds before display episode lists, will not add newly downloaded episodes even though the option to do that has been checked. It crashes and/or freezes sometimes after start up ir during prolonged usage.

    Like this app, but need some fix. Find some bugs and issues 1. All my podcasts I delete, but in memory used its 719mb, and if I push delete all, nothing change 2. If I start listening already downloaded podcast but close application and when its finish I reopen app podcast I listened not deleted automatically, so u must deleted manual. 3. Try cellular data ON, but u app have restriction for only 50mb, and 100, for WiFi. But in Windows Phone 8 politics already change, right now its already for 100mb cellular data. Can u please change this? To 100mb like OS limitation, and also WiFi rise without external power? Maybe to 200mb? Well this is what I really find every day hope it can be fixed!

    My only qualm is that new subscriptions don't auto-download all past episodes. Other than that, it is awesome!!

    Occasional error read message; crashes often. It's a shame, because when it does work its fairly good.
