If you have a library of DVDs stashed around the house and a hot mess of a DVR the take the time to learn about Plex. It may take some time to get it going and some learning along the way, but the results are astounding. Play your media anywhere, any time on almost any device or streaming box. Invest a weekend, it is worth the effort.

Starting around 2/27/15 the app will no longer update. It's stuck in my downloads list with an error code. Sounds like a Microsoft Store problem, but Plex is in the best position to rattle their cage and resolve. Originally got app 1/2014. When App updates again, it's 5 stars.

For those having install issues. PLEX was originally free on Windows phone and when it changed to a paid app, the updates failed to install. I tried removing the app and then reinstalling it via the app store on the phone, but that failed as well. Finally I went to the online Windows Phone app store and "purchased" the app. An email was sent to my account with installation instructions and it installed without issue. Hope this helps...
