Manage all your passwords securely and conveniently on the phone that's always with you. The single master password you seledct is used to encrypt all thy other passwords in your collection using AES-256 encryption. Your master password is NEVER stored.

* Backup and restore your encrypted passwords to OneDrive. You can even backup on one phone and restore to another.

* Use the predefined categories for your passwords, or create your own in the language of your choice.

* Use Cortana to find a password item from your collection. Of course you must authenticate by entering your master password before the information is displayed.
Much of the computer code for Password Padlock is now shared between Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 versions. These are the major changes in this release to both platforms:

New option to share most settings between Windows and Windows Phone. Note that your master password is NEVER stored.
Be aware that your encrypted password collection is NOT automatically synced among devices as it may become too large for automatic sync, so use OneDrive upload/download to share encrypted password collections among your devices.

IMPORTANT: It may take from several minutes to over an hour for changed settings to be visible to other devices.

App now checks for newer data on OneDrive than device on program startup.

App now checks for newer data on device than on OneDrive on program startup.

You can now specify subfolders for OneDrive backup using \\ character in folder name.

Faster startup loading and decrypting password data using shared decryption logic.

Bug fix for blank category for password item on Windows. Bug fix for rename password item not working correctly on Windows Phone.

Windows Phone: OneDrive access now automatically uses your phone's Microsoft Account.

Windows Phone: New option to specify length of generated passwords.

Windows Phone: Now you can export Password Padlock data using email attachments and import from files.

Windows: File import/export on Options-Defaults fly out now also includes category data.

Liked the app, had over 50 important information typed in. After upgrade to 6.00 I lost them all, I can't relay on a product that I have to ignore future updates and bug fixes

Automatically updated by WP8.1 and lost all my passwords. Stupidly I haven't backed up for a while, so this has serious implications. Surely even if you have changed the file format, you can implement a feature to upgrade existing data on installation? I can't trust this app now, so uninstalling.

Back up your passwords before updating to version 6

Lost all my data when I went to open it today. It worked well when it worked, but knowing I could lose everything randomly means I just can't trust it at all. If it gets fixed and I get my passwords back, I'll fix the rating but until then it's unacceptable.
