Open

Open is an application that lets you enter and keep information about store opening hours. This app is the rare one-of-its-kind in the Windows Phone Marketplace! Updated for Windows Phone 7.5, "Mango" - based on reviewer feedback.

The main screen shows you the list of stores along with two pieces of information: whether the store is open or closed, and how long it will be until it closes or opens again.

In addition to the store name, you can keep the store's phone number and street address handy. This information can be used to initiate a call to the store or go to a map of the store address, which also shows you the route from your current location and tells you if you can make it there before closing.

Each store also has a week-view of opening hours (and lunch hours, should the store have them). From the week-view you can enter/edit store hours any time.

Entering and editing store hours is easy. You can apply the hours for any weekday to any number of other days, so most store hours can be entered with very few taps. Time pickers and checkboxes help you enter the information quickly. Templates for "regular"-hour and 24-hour stores are provided.

Stores are now sorted alphabetically and can be pinned to the start screen. Pinned tiles will be updated with upcoming event information every ~30 minutes using a background task.
