Next Metro displays live information from a few nearby London (UK) Underground stations based on your current location. It also provides the status of the whole metro network and directions to a nearby station of your choice, and includes an offline metro map.

The app is simple, quick, requires minimal interaction, allows the font size to be changed on some of the screens, supports voice commands, and offers an optional voice-over.

Please note that while the app displays the status of the DLR and London Overground, it does not display departures for these two lines as TfL does not yet provide such data to third parties.

What's new?
- It’s now possible to add the app to the lock screen for detailed and/or quick status updates through the settings screen.

- Resolved an issue related to missing speech recognizers.
- Updated the primary live tile to include a badge indicating the number of lines which have issues – the badge is only visible if there is at least one line which has a problem.
- Altered the primary live tile so that specific lines that have issues are explicitly mentioned.
- Added an option to disable periodic tube status updates when the app is not running.
- Added optional pins to the status page to allow your favourite lines to be pinned to your phone’s start screen.

- Added the UK AppChallenge button on the about page.
