Newser's writers and editors carefully select approximately 60 of the most essential, entertaining, and delightfully quirky news items to cover each day. And at just two paragraphs each, our sharply written stories pack in only the most interesting details—none of the boring stuff—and are quick and easy to digest, especially on the go. And we're pretty to look at, too: Our signature grid, reformatted for mobile, lets eye-catching photos and short and snappy headlines do the talking, providing a vivid snapshot of the day's news. New in Version 2.4 - April 28, 2013: - Fixed Facebook sharing in response to a Facebook change. New in Version 2.3 - April 21, 2013 - Improved the quality of the images on the grid page. - Newser login no longer required for social sharing. - Fixed a problem with the inability to share via Twitter. - Added a privacy page. - Fixed 'Stories I've Read' for visitors. - Modified app so that after reading a story sent via a toast notification you can return to the hub page to view more stories. - Many other minor improvements and bug fixes.

6/16/2013Ad placement is annoying, and easily triggered just by scrolling content. I've had enough.

6/5/2013The presentation on this app is subpar and messy. I find it hard to want to use this app because the interface seems so messy and makes me long for the days when Pulse was a native app on Windows Phone.

6/3/2013The app is a great idea, but poorly implemented. The pictures take over the screen, and the words for the article are on the pictures (bad idea, some are hard to read, and there is no flow that way) also, the writers could work on more tech news, and less politics and world news. A way to customize what sections are displayed would also be a required setting in my opinion. All in all, the articles being good, and the superlatives idea get one star, but the design, no customization, and terrible flow need attention.

5/30/2013I really enjoy using this app. Well done. 4 stars because of poor UI (ugly) design. Overall experience with this could improve and this will quickly become a must-have for all WP8 users.

5/29/2013App is too eager to treat my swipe as a banner ad click/tap.
