Thinking about that next sailing trip? Navigator measures distance and bearings without having to pull out the charts, dividers and parallel rulers. Just enter points on the map and let your phone do all the measurement for you!

Navigator calculates distance in nautical miles or kilometers and gives compass bearings corrected for your local magenetic declinations. You can view detailed routes with speed estimates based on your vessel's hull speed. Routes can be saved on your phone or mailed as a .GPX file for import into other navigational tools.

The Mango version (WP 7.5) offers NOAA nautical charts in the US and territories and OpenSeaMap nautical information worldwide.

Navigator is for sailors, not automobile drivers. This app does not provide street directions or turn-by-turn navigation.

The free version is identical to the paid version except that it has ads on the settings and configuration pages (but not on the main page.)

This app did not work with the noaa maps when on the water in the boat trying to use it to navigate the depths.

Nice to have a charting app for WP but NOAA charts stopped working recently. Agree that downloads would be cool but I understand the technical issues with downloads. Please fix the NOAA chart view.

Noaa charts generate error. Very confusing app. Can't figure out if it actually does anything or if its features are just difficult to use.

Please allow users to download the NOAA charts onto phone so it can be loaded faster, and so one has availability without internet.

Would be nice if the NOAA charts could be used without a network connection.
