National Zoo is a great companion app when visiting the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. See where the animals are using the web cams. See pictures taken by Smithsonian photographers. Check out events going on at the National Zoo. This application is not an official Smithsonian application.
4/22/2014The cameras that do work are fun to watch and there are updates on events and statuses. However, over half the cameras do not work and haven't for many months. I would rather you take them off the list then taunt me with them.
4/15/2014Only the panda page is on!!
4/7/2014This app was awesome at first but now there are so many cameras that are not on. I loved watching the pandas and the orangutans. They were my favorite. :-)
3/31/2014Great concept but none of the cameras work. Ill uninstall and try again.
3/16/2014I love the animal cameras!!! it allowed me to watch the panda cub close up without being there!
2/19/2014Love it. Great for mobility impaired or pre schoolers so they don't get all scared when they see a REAL tiger!
2/9/2014Best app... sooo cute to watch!!
2/2/20142 cams work
1/20/2014Would give it 5 stars but you can't. See all the animals they have listed on cam
1/5/2014As far as an unofficial app goes, this app offers a lot of useful info and a smooth experience. The map is just a link to NatZoo's PDF, though, not an interactive map. I suggest the dev change the map to a live Bing map - you can even overlay on Bing Maps. I supported the Zoo for many years but decided to boycott them for refusing to release a WinPhone app. Greedy incompetent impotent b@st@rds. I now use this app to watch the pandas every day, thanks.
