The application is a handy tool to get real-time information about subway stations accessibility in New York City. It’s designed for people with difficulties to access regular subway stations. MTA Easy Access will help identify ADA compliant stations that have additional accessibility options (e.g. elevators), filter out stations that have current accessibility alerts due to maintenance works. Additionally, users will be able to find the closest ADA compliant stations to the target route. Key features of the application are: • Displaying a map (Bing Maps) of New York City with subway stations plotted • Highlighting stations that are ADA compliant and stations where maintenance is in progress • Filtering of displayed stations (ADA compliant, Fully operational stations) • Search for stations based on the start and end points of a route Privacy note The application uses Location Services to display map using Bing Maps Control. Location data is not stored on device or sent to 3rd parties.
