Solitaire remains the most-played computer game of all time, and for good reason. Simple rules and straightforward gameplay make it easy to pick up for anyone. Just focus on clearing out of the cards from the table, or try to increase your score to rival your friends.

Solitaire has been part of Windows for more than 20 years, and The Microsoft Solitaire Collection makes it the best experience to date with five different card games in one:

This version is the timeless classic that many people just call "Solitaire". Try to clear all the cards from the table using traditional scoring or the popular Vegas scoring system.

Use four extra cells to move cards around as you try to clear all cards from the table. More strategic than the Klondike version, FreeCell rewards players who think several moves ahead.

Eight columns of cards await your attempts to clear them with the fewest moves possible. Start out playing with a single suit until you’re comfortable, and then see how you fare when using two or even all four suits in a game.

Select cards in a sequence, either up or down, to earn points. How many boards can you clear before you run out of deals?

Pair two cards that add up to 13 in order to clear them. Try to reach the top of the pyramid. See how high you score in this deceptively simple and highly addictive card game that continues to increase in popularity!

Room for improvement. Why don't you save settings like sound volume instead is setting back to loudest EVERY time I reopen the game. Also there should be an option to restart the game you are playing instead of asking them to input the 7 digit code. even has a link to report problems to MSFT that doesn't

Nice app that works well. However, I do have a couple of suggestions to make it better. First, most times I open it, it forgets my settings and shows the tutorial. Second, its a battery hog. Otherwise great app!

Great game. Works flawlessly. Problem is that my processor is practically melting phone even only playing one game.... After a few I can smell it burning. Hello, MS? Are you retarded? Such a simple game

This game has way too many flaws! Shame on Microsoft! After 500 it is nearly impossible to get a hand that has a chance of winning. Looking for a new game now.

This app randomly starts the music app, and plays music when you don't want to.

Great game play. Perfect for anytime

I like the app with all the versions of solitaire. However, I cannot play too often or for long due to how much it drains the battery and heats up the phone. This MS app and Mahjong also have a bit of background noise. Makes the phone sound like its running a tiny internal fan (new "feature"... software simulation of the heat solution). Would be nice to have the option to dial down the render engine, if that is driving the heat issue (on a quad processor phone???)
