Solitaire remains the most-played computer game of all time, and for good reason. Simple rules and straightforward gameplay make it easy to pick up for anyone. Just focus on clearing out of the cards from the table, or try to increase your score to rival your friends.

Solitaire has been part of Windows for more than 20 years, and The Microsoft Solitaire Collection makes it the best experience to date with five different card games in one:

This version is the timeless classic that many people just call "Solitaire". Try to clear all the cards from the table using traditional scoring or the popular Vegas scoring system.

Use four extra cells to move cards around as you try to clear all cards from the table. More strategic than the Klondike version, FreeCell rewards players who think several moves ahead.

Eight columns of cards await your attempts to clear them with the fewest moves possible. Start out playing with a single suit until you’re comfortable, and then see how you fare when using two or even all four suits in a game.

Select cards in a sequence, either up or down, to earn points. How many boards can you clear before you run out of deals?

Pair two cards that add up to 13 in order to clear them. Try to reach the top of the pyramid. See how high you score in this deceptively simple and highly addictive card game that continues to increase in popularity!

I would give this a 5 star review, but it makes my phone feel like it has a nuclear core that is melting down. Also, the setting constantly switch back to default. I will make the game silent, then play a day later and the sound is back. This shouldn't be hard for MS to fix. I would have hoped their QA would have caught it, but that may be expecting too much. Other than these two, the app is a solid 5 stars if they would fix the heat and settings.

Overall pretty good, my only complaint is with pyramid games, it quite frequently gives me games that are literally impossible to win because of the placement of the matching cards in the pyramid. If that was fixed this would be an excellent app

Missing the "try again" option. Sometimes says that there are no more moves though the game can be won by moving cards between the stacks. Eats through battery in 30 minutes. Addictive and well done, except for the abovementioned problems.

Drains a whole phone's battery in about 20 minutes. Don't get this app.

Some settings continually reset on app closure. This happens intermittently.
