MetroMail is the first third-party email client for Windows Phone. It improves user experience by significantly expanding the functionality offered by the native email client. It also brings a first-class experience for Gmail users, which includes all major Gmail-specific functionality, and instant notifications. 4/16/2014Works flawlessly. Looks beautiful, too. Feels like a native Gmail app. As an experienced Android user, I have to say that this app makes switching over a breeze. If only they would make a calendar app...
4/16/2014UPDATE: With the last update, fixed the issue below. Upgrading rating! --- So much better than the stock mail app! However, with the last update, is it just me, but I no longer can retrieve messages more than a day old, rendering the app nearly useless. I looked at all the settings, and its not something that's easily intuitive. Downgrading until it gets fixed or I'm able to figure it out.
