The Mayhem Remote application works with the free Windows application, Mayhem, to control almost anything. Use your phone to control a PowerPoint presentation, the lights in the room, a media player, your Hi-Fi system, posting to Facebook, etc. Simply create phone events in Mayhem, choose the reactions you desire, pair your phone, and you are ready to go.

Note: Mayhem is required, and must be running on a PC that is visible on the same wireless network as the phone. Most home Wi-Fi networks should work fine. Secure corporate networks generally will not work.

Really cool. Excited by the possibilities. The icon sucks, though, looks terrible on the home screen. Please make a Metro version.

I can't figure out how to make it work - my remote controls dont have QR code. And the ip address of what device? and what port should I type in? Not friendly at all.

I haven't tried it yet but I'm gonna knock off a star because of the app tile...this isn't iOS people, it's a Windows Phone, we use Metro here.
