Max & the Magic Marker is an award-winning physics-based puzzle platformer. The game is for all audiences yet still challenging for the hardcore gamer. Max plays like a classic platformer but with a twist. You have a magic marker that enables you to draw freehand in the game – everything you draw becomes real and can be interacted with in the game world. You must help Max overcome enemies, obstacles and puzzles on his journey. Enjoy: - Lots of puzzles with multiple solutions! - Earn loads of achievements! - Compete against your friends on the leaderboards! - 15 awesome levels in 3 unique worlds! One day Max gets a mysterious marker in the mail. The first thing he draws is a monster, but as soon as the pen leaves the paper, the monster comes to life and jumps into another drawing. It must be stopped, so Max draws himself onto the page and the chase begins. The game has received several awards including the “Independent Games Festival 2010 (IGF) D2D Vision Award”.

8/11/2014It won't even start.
7/30/2014A cool concept with being able to draw shapes to help you progress. However the platforming part of the game isn't strong and the drawing component could have been utilized even better.
7/16/2014Add FHD support.
7/10/2014Some thing new. Innovative thinking
6/27/2014After enjoying Max: The Curse of Brotherhood on Xbox One, I finally decided to get Max and the Magic Marker on Windows Phone. As expected, it was a delight: a unique puzzle platformer just like it's Xbox One cousin. The game isn't flawless (it crashed occasionally, and the button placement and controls aren't the best), but it's fun and challenging and unique enough to warrant 5/5 stars, especially with Xbox Live integration and at only 99 cents.
6/22/2014Fun game and deserves five stars. It does have a few flaws and the only one that really sucks is if you switch away from the game and then back to it, it forgets the secret orbs you collected and you must restart.
6/19/2014Great concept. Great artwork. ATROCIOUS controls. The jump button is fundamentally flawed. Just make the whole corner jump instead of a tiny button that I have be precise with?! Not to mention that it resets the amount of secrets you get if you multitask. Urgh. AGAIN. THE CONTROLS.
