What’s new in version 5.2: • Join a meeting even if you don’t have a Lync account • View more information about meeting participants • Support for certification and passive authentication • Pin a contact to your home screen for quick communication • Easily start a conversation with a group • Microsoft Customer Experience Improvement Program support Anyone can use the Lync Mobile app when invited to a Lync 2013 meeting. However, you must have a Lync account in order to use (and enjoy) the full capability of the Lync Mobile app. Also, some functionality might require an update to Lync Server or might not be available to all users. If you’re not sure about your account status, please contact your IT department. Lync 2013 for Windows Phone extends the power of Lync to your mobile device – including voice & video over wireless, rich presence, instant messaging, conferencing, and calling features from a single, easy-to-use interface. IMPORTANT: THIS SOFTWARE REQUIRES CONNECTIVITY TO VALIDLY LICENSED COPIES OF MICROSOFT LYNC SERVER OR OFFICE 365 / LYNC ONLINE AND WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT. UPDATES TO MICROSOFT LYNC SERVER MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PROPER PERFORMANCE. SOME FUNCTIONALITY MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ALL COUNTRIES. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT YOUR COMPANY’S LICENSE TO AND/OR DEPLOYMENT OF LYNC, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR IT DEPARTMENT.
12/6/2013Almost useless for me. Messages come hours later even when they were already read and replied to from different devices e.g. Laptop, desktop. Can nearly never make a phone call through it. Conversation history is useless since its incomplete. Went back to Lync 2010.
12/6/2013Pile of ****
12/5/2013Lync to Lync calls to my wp8 not ringing... But to iPhone without any problem... 😈
11/18/2013I have too many problems to list them all. Its a frustrating experience to sum up. The worst is when u r in the meeting and press to see ur main screen Lync stops working.
11/17/2013I having issues in signing in. Can anyone help me with it?
11/12/2013Garbage...never connects to meeting on first try. Bad audio. disconnects. Ton of cool features but tired of them not working. Easier to use cell minutes for con call.
11/9/2013Works great. Can be faster during start up.
10/28/2013Since the last upgrade haven't been able to unmute on calls and place calls. Something is certainly not working. Hope it is fixed soon as I loved this app before.
