IMPORTANT: Microsoft Lync 2010 for Windows Phone requires a Lync Server or Office365/Lync Online account and will not work without it. If you are unsure about your account status, please contact your IT department. Lync 2010 for Windows Phone extends the power of Lync to your mobile device – including rich presence, instant messaging, audio conferencing, and calling features from a single, easy-to-use interface. Key Features: - View colleagues’ availability in real time and select the best way to communicate – initiating an instant message (IM), email, or a phone call. - Connect to Lync conference calls with a single touch, without requiring long numeric passcodes or conference numbers. - Make and receive calls using your Enterprise Voice (Lync ID) number only, so you can connect with others using a single, consistent identity. - Lync 2010 for Windows Phone provides transport layer security (TLS) and perimeter/internal network protection without requiring a VPN, so your communications experience is safer no matter where you are or what network you use. IMPORTANT: THIS SOFTWARE REQUIRES CONNECTIVITY TO VALIDLY LICENSED COPIES OF MICROSOFT LYNC SERVER 2010 OR OFFICE365/LYNC ONLINE AND WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT. UPDATES TO MICROSOFT LYNC SERVER 2010 MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PROPER PERFORMANCE. SOME FUNCTIONALITY MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ALL COUNTRIES. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT YOUR COMPANY’S LICENSE TO AND/OR DEPLOYMENT OF LYNC, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR IT DEPARTMENT.
10/24/2014Good communication with desktop version of Lync.
10/15/2014I'm a registered windows user, and the company I work for does pay for all Microsoft Office licenses, Lync 2010 included. Have a Windows phone and have Lync installed. Worked fine initially, but a couple of months ago stopped working at all. Frustrated as I'm supposed to be able to use them, as we pay for the licenses. Already reported the problem and hopefully someone will contact me soon. For now, can't use Lync.
10/4/2014I want to like it... But its just so inconsistent. I wish we got 2013 server... Now the company is looking at WebEx I hope we can get them to upgrade the backed so we can use the 2013 app.
9/29/2014Great app in so many ways! Love the one-click meeting join ! What it really needs as well is to be able to pull new user pictures in without having to uninstall and reinstall the app. Also would be great to create Lync meetings from within the app. The iOS app has more functionality for calendar integration which shouldn't be!
9/15/2014Some times not working properly
8/22/2014Get it right away with murder case studies to the right here and now it is possible if I could see you.
8/15/2014I have the new version.
8/3/2014i can't sign in *** do i need this app ? how do I sign in ???
7/27/2014The notifications do not show up, nor does it vibrate or play a sound when I get an IM. I have missed IMs from my VP which have resulted in ground stops.
