IMPORTANT: Microsoft Lync 2010 for Windows Phone requires a Lync Server or Office365/Lync Online account and will not work without it. If you are unsure about your account status, please contact your IT department. Lync 2010 for Windows Phone extends the power of Lync to your mobile device – including rich presence, instant messaging, audio conferencing, and calling features from a single, easy-to-use interface. Key Features: - View colleagues’ availability in real time and select the best way to communicate – initiating an instant message (IM), email, or a phone call. - Connect to Lync conference calls with a single touch, without requiring long numeric passcodes or conference numbers. - Make and receive calls using your Enterprise Voice (Lync ID) number only, so you can connect with others using a single, consistent identity. - Lync 2010 for Windows Phone provides transport layer security (TLS) and perimeter/internal network protection without requiring a VPN, so your communications experience is safer no matter where you are or what network you use. IMPORTANT: THIS SOFTWARE REQUIRES CONNECTIVITY TO VALIDLY LICENSED COPIES OF MICROSOFT LYNC SERVER 2010 OR OFFICE365/LYNC ONLINE AND WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT. UPDATES TO MICROSOFT LYNC SERVER 2010 MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PROPER PERFORMANCE. SOME FUNCTIONALITY MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ALL COUNTRIES. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT YOUR COMPANY’S LICENSE TO AND/OR DEPLOYMENT OF LYNC, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR IT DEPARTMENT.
1/15/2015Click on toast notification, which has a preview of message, and after an agonizing wait you get "Could not open conversation" or similar error. The Lync meeting URL is not supported. It only sends you to the app store. This is a Microsoft product on a Microsoft phone. Shame that these things do not work
1/8/2015Lync 2010 is a great app to communicate with your coworkers. MS did a great job on this one!!!

12/28/2014Unable to login. It says server not reachable. However I am able to login from Laptop without any issue
12/28/2014Far better as compared to lync2013
12/8/2014Better than the 2013 when it comes to reliability, but still flaky.
10/24/2014Good communication with desktop version of Lync.
10/15/2014I'm a registered windows user, and the company I work for does pay for all Microsoft Office licenses, Lync 2010 included. Have a Windows phone and have Lync installed. Worked fine initially, but a couple of months ago stopped working at all. Frustrated as I'm supposed to be able to use them, as we pay for the licenses. Already reported the problem and hopefully someone will contact me soon. For now, can't use Lync.
10/4/2014I want to like it... But its just so inconsistent. I wish we got 2013 server... Now the company is looking at WebEx I hope we can get them to upgrade the backed so we can use the 2013 app.
