You automatically get the new Lumia Camera app with the Lumia Denim software update if you have a Lumia 830, 930, 1520 or Icon. Lumia Camera Classic has all the features of the previous Lumia Camera app.

Living Images add motion to bring your photos to life in your camera roll and Lumia Storyteller. Any photos and videos you shoot in Lumia Cinemagraph and Lumia Refocus also appear as Living Images, playing as you browse through them in the camera roll.

Use auto mode when you want to simply point and shoot, or switch to full manual control to create the perfect composition. For action photography, smart sequence is a great way to quickly shoot and combine a series of photos.

New in this version:
- New Name; Lumia Camera Classic.
- Bug fixes

New in 4.7.2.5 with Cyan:
- Support for Living Images
- Continuous autofocus for faster focusing
- Surround sound in video capture
- New camera roll with full resolution zoom and inline playback of videos, cinemagraphs, smart sequences and Refocus images.
- Lumia Camera Classic integrates with Lumia Creative Studio and Lumia Video Trimmer for editing your photos and videos

Living Images and continuous autofocus work on a Lumia 930, 1520 or Icon running the Lumia Cyan software update. To get the latest software update for your phone, go to Settings > Phone Update. Lumia Camera Classic works best on phones running the Lumia Cyan software update, but it also works with limited functionality on phones with the Lumia Amber update or later. Great imaging with excellent manual controls and equally wonderful automatic modes. Images are realistic when taken with this a app as opposed to the over processed garbage of its successor. If you care about accurate depictions of a scene you have to use "classic".

I started HD recording until it stopped automatic, because of reaching its max. It said it saved the file, but I cannot play it, seems corrupted. On my 1520 high-res includes a low-res version file too. Selecting and deleting low-res using Windows 8.1 File Explorer on my notebook with usb connection to the 1520, resulted in the loss of all high-res too without any way to recover. I am shocked! Shooting a Microsoft Photosynth Walk, it turns out Camera is not using the WP location/motion service, but just the last acquired gps co-ordinates. As smartphones support turn-by-turn navigation, I expect better location from the camera.
