Background audio support for over 100,000 recordings of Grateful Dead, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Furthur, Spin Doctors, Maroon 5, moe., Radiators, and thousands of other trade-friendly artists. (Remember, additional charges may apply depending on connectivity used to acquire data and stream music.) WHAT IS THE LIVE MUSIC ARCHIVE ALL ABOUT? "This audio archive is an online public library of live recordings available for royalty-free, no-cost public downloads. We only host material by trade-friendly artists: those who like the idea of noncommercial distribution of some or all of their live material. Live recordings are a part of our culture and might be lost in 100 years if they're not archived. We think music matters and want to preserve it for future generations." -- Internet Archive FAQ No digital llamas were harmed during the making of this app. v220.127.116.11 • More UI tweaks, including a few new icons. • Additional data cache. • If you enjoy this app, please rate it 5 stars! v18.104.22.168 • UI enhancements (in celebration of this app's 2nd anniversary). v22.214.171.124 • Continuous loop target for joining shared shows. • UI enhancements. v126.96.36.199 • Additional share options for status and URLs. • Shorter links for sharing (and joining!) shows. • Fast app resume. • Automatic scroll to paused, resumed, or joined track. • Hyperlinks in about text. • Removed some redundant indexes from some track titles. • Invalidation of concert cache when opening in browser. • Fixed current track index when reviving a dormant background audio process. • Fixed tracks included in some multi-format concerts. • Several minor UI enhancements. v188.8.131.52 • Tile transparency. • Share text reformatted. • Updated external libraries. v184.108.40.206 • Easier to recall the most recently played concert. • Upcoming event information now powered by JamBase V3 API. • Updated external libraries. • Minor cosmetic changes. v220.127.116.11 • Now playing live tile. v18.104.22.168 • Minor performance improvements. • Artist search link to Nokia Music. v22.214.171.124 • Browse and search by artist via band list. • Pin artists to Start screen. • Browse by related concert attributes (artist, date, venue, location, taper, transferer). • Enhanced search capabilities. • Random concert suggestions now favor soundboard and matrix recordings. • Lock screen display of currently playing concert and history. • Resume concerts from previously played position. • Share concerts via Messaging, Email, or Social Networks. • Join shared concerts at a relative time or paused position. • Add upcoming event information (powered by JamBase) to calendar. • and much more...

6/29/2014Great app, just got an update today!!
6/12/2014All ALO, all moe. all day, everywhere. This program is what makes the interwebs the best invention. Ever.* * some minor exceptions like microwave ovens, Hot Pockets and legal bud.
5/29/2014Would be 5 if you could have a function to fast forward/rewind and if the song segues didn't have a delay. In live shows, songs that run into each other are cutoff momentary. I hope this gets fixed, other than that, a nice app.
5/19/2014This is absolutely a stunningly well-made and useful app for anyone interested in streaming live music from the Live Music Archive. The search functionality is simple to use, and bringing up a desired show is fairly quick. I haven't explored every feature but so far it's an easy five stars. My thanks to the creator and designer for this highly useful music app.
