Hurricane Tracker provides you with the latest information about tropical cyclones in the Atlantic, East Pacific, West Pacific, Indian Ocean, and southern hemisphere. View a tracking chart, get the latest position and intensity, check the forecast, or view satellite imagery. Not interested in every storm in the world? Personal settings allow you to narrow it down to the hurricane basins that interest you. Like loops? View animated satellite imagery of the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Atlantic, Pacific, or Indian Ocean. Also includes wind shear maps, steering currents, sea surface temperatures, doppler weather radar... and more. Like computer models? View the spaghetti plot of predicted tracks by different models. History? Check out past storms in the historical database section. Turn on push notifications to be notified automatically about newly formed storms in the hurricane basins you monitor.
8/16/2014It's a good idea but the crashes and is consistently inaccurate. The satellite feeds seldom load and when it does, it's outdated information.
8/13/2014#1 app I go to, I'm from Louisiana. Live 40 miles from the gulf along the Atchafalaya Basin. . This is solid info
8/12/2014Great app. A little slow to load but otherwise not bad.
8/10/2014Great app. I use it to track hurricane activity in the Atlantic and it always notifies me and its info is always up to date and accurate. Would like to see live tile updates. For now I only see them in the notification center.
8/10/2014What I was looking for
8/7/2014Like it very much, just what I was looking for..
