gTasks is the first native Windows Phone 7 application for managing Google Tasks. Google Tasks does not have a mobile interface for WP7/IE8 and it is a pain to use the desktop version on your phone. So, if you are/become a Google Task user and have a windows phone, then this app is for you. Exclusive features in paid version: - Greatly improved the new version to use Tasks API making it more robust and secure. - Since we use the official API, the login issues that various users had will not be there in this new version. - Improved the interface to make it easy and intuitive. It's also changed to use Metro UI. - Included Quadrant view where you can organize tasks by Priority and DueDate. - Sorting : Now you can sort based on due date. - Email support: You can share the task lists to your loved ones & friends. - Offline support: Now you can edit/add tasks offline and they are synced when there is a network available. - Unified lists: You can see all your lists in one place. - Pivot/Tabbed view: If you have less than 6 lists, you can try the Pivot/Tabbed view (really slick) to manage your lists and tasks. Go to "Settings" to change how you want to view your lists/tasks. - Easy swapping of Tasks from one list to another. - You can create/view/update google tasks and task lists from your phone with a slick interface. You can mark the completion of a task with 1 click. You can add task name, notes and due date with a user friendly native interface. * Indentation, LiveTiles and many more new features will be released in the upcoming versions. Disclaimer: - This app is not developerd or endorsed by Google. - Some diagnostics has been added which collect some "anonymous data" which help to improve the product.
7/29/2014Quite a few bugs. Sometimes I can't see the last task on the list.
2/5/2014Its got quite a few bugs and it's overpriced. I do, however, like the idea. Just fix the bugs. For its price there should be no bugs. I love the quadrant view. Problems: Offline only works when you do not have cell service. This is annoying because my data plan isn't that good. It should be if you aren't connected to WiFi or at least make it an option. It frequently has problems syncing even when I am connected to WiFi. It needs to do its thinking behind the scenes. Its annoying to wait for it.
12/14/2013Really good! No trouble signing in. Would be 5 stars, except there needs to be a scroll built into the notes section.
5/16/2013Very fast sync. Very reliable. Customizable
12/3/2012Just got the paid version to be able to add things off line. Would be cool if could drag and drop within due date view. Also live tile showing next task would be cool. Also ability to have multiple usernames. So my work and personal Gmail. Also the ability to clear completed, add recurring tasks and reminder allowing for different time per task as well as default time. Notes if are large no scroll to right. Had to rewrite notes. 😒
11/16/2011Its been a great app, I wish it did the syncing in the background so it didn't hold you up waiting on it when you load (why doesn't the phone have that built in?). Still absolute necessity if your using google tasks and windows phone.
10/11/2011New version fails to authorize via account
10/11/2011I thought this app was going to give me what I needed because it was simple. But this is not the case. Wayyyy to many exception errors. Makes it difficult to use. The trial version seemed to work. But when I paid for the app it was all down hill. :|
10/4/2011I prefer the older version this is now too slow. More features, but no longer can double as a todo list due to slowness / complexity.
9/30/2011How to use the code the app want us to copy?
