Eat your fruits and vegetables! The health benefits of a diet rich in fruits and vegetables outweigh the risks of pesticide exposure. Use EWG's Shopper's Guide to Pesticides to reduce your exposures as much as possible, but eating conventionally-grown produce is far better than not eating fruits and vegetables at all. The Shopper's Guide to Pesticide in Produce will help you determine which fruits and vegetables have the most pesticide residues and are the most important to buy organic. You can lower your pesticide intake substantially by avoiding the 12 most contaminated fruits and vegetables and eating the least contaminated produce.

4/24/2013Important, handy app. Needs update to the 2013 guide release which includes the "+" items. Like that the Alphabetical listing includes foods that are not just on the dirty/clean lists. The cosmetics listing may be huge for an app, but a prominent link in this app to the online cosmetic look-up would be great.

2/28/2013Fantastically resourceful app. I echo the sentiment of a previous reviewer that information regarding domestic versus imported produce would be welcome. Also an app for cosmetics and cleaners would be a godsend.

12/16/2012Fast. Simple. Informative. I only wish they further broke the dirty dozen down to a 'domestic' dirty dozen list next to an 'imported' dirty dozen list. I don't know for certain but I think they would differ. Thanks!
