    Basic DirecTV app. Not even remotely close in functionality to the other platforms. Once an update is available that makes this app better, then more stars will be given.

    App needs to be up to par with iPhone and Android devices. Superior platform so it shouldn't be difficult to do.

    I too was having the communication error. On a hunch I uninstalled and reinstalled. Working fine now.

    Just switched from my iPhone to windows HTC 8x. Love the phone but this app is worthless until it can stream shows.

    I have both IPhone and Android devices and on both of them you can watch Directv programming on them. Now comes my Windows Phone 8 device and all I can do is look at programming and set a show to record. DirecTV I think the Windows mobile OS has been out long enough to update your app so that it mirrors both IOS and Android, so make it right!!!!

    I got sick of waiting for DirectTV to update this app to be on par with their other phone versions. I am always on the road or on the go and like to watch TV when I travel. I ended up cancelling DirectTV and switching to a combination of Hulu Plus, Netflix, and XBOX Video. Much cheaper and DirecTV didnt allow phone streaming so I could never watch my sports on the road anyways. Bye bye, DirecTV! I hope you update this ****** app before you lose even more customers.

    Hasn't worked in weeks; always a communication error with the server. This app needs serious work. Was decent when it did work.
