Daily Planner provides the most important benefits of proven paper planners so you can be sure nothing will fall through the cracks. The simple system helps you keep track of your notes and tasks for each day. Just swipe to the left or right to switch between tasks and notes for a date. Or tap the previous or next buttons to view a different date in the past or future. Daily Planner provides a quick and easy note-taking tool that lets you keep track of whatever is important to you: meeting notes, reminders for later, or just a daily journal. And with the new voice recording feature, you can safely record your notes even while you're driving. Best of all, you can create a task from your notes with the click of a button. Daily Planner doesn't just keep all your tasks in one big list. It maintains a task list for each day, forcing you to examine previous incomplete items as you plan each day. This critical step in the planning process, proven on popular paper planners, ensures that your tasks don't fall through the cracks. Just spend a few minutes at the start of each day reviewing the previous day's notes and tasks. With just a few taps, Daily Planner can create new tasks based on your notes and forward incomplete tasks from previous days, giving you a prioritized task list for the day so you know what you need to focus on. Recent enhancements include: - Voice recording feature for notes - Email a note or task - Minor UI and tile improvements Future enhancements planned: - Backup/restore using Dropbox - Event specific notes and tasks (party planning, shopping lists, etc.) - Calendar control to jump to a specific date - User-defined sorting and filtering
1/31/2013Really want the Franklin style task management but doesn't sync with EAS (Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail) which the phone API exposes, which is a deal breaker for me
12/28/2011No times depicted. Do not see anything resembling what was advertised. Been in IT about 20 years...very disappointed!
8/26/2011Ehh not what I expected for a daily planner
5/7/2011Bad interface - needs to work with exchange.
4/28/2011I agree with the previous post by ZHalo1951, but I have to add more. I find this app lacking in the ability to help me input my tasks quickly and neatly. No, the app is not slow. When I input one task, I lose about .5 to 5 minutes of my day depending on the difficulty and complexity of the task (I like details). Then subtract more minutes for every day's tasks and this easy process becomes bogged down with wasted time. Also, simply adding note per task does not give me the clarity I want for organizing my thoughts. If this app had another way to input content and better organize notes, then I would consider buying.
2/24/2011This is a great start to a daily planner but falls short with a few items. As a "daily" planner this might work but when Friday comes around and I want to push to Monday... Well it just isn't happening here yet. Nice feature is "Notes"... Nicer feature would be if you could find them without going from day to day. Actually... If you forget to do something, or move a task you won't know you missed it unless YOU go looking for it. Its actually easier to do this on paper as you can see more... But I'll check this app again later as it IS a good start.
2/22/2011Very useful app for everyday activity
2/22/2011To the user who asked how you know what version you have: You can view the about page by tapping the question mark in the app bar. An earlier version displayed the about page on startup. Even earlier versions had no about page. If you have the free trial version, there is a bug in the phone OS that prevents app updates to trials. In order to fix this, you either need to uninstall the app and reinstall (which will delete all your existing data) or purchase the full app (which will leave your data intact). Please note that this is not a tactic to get you to buy the full version. It really is a bug in the phone OS. If you want to wait for the next update to the OS, this might get fixed. In the meantime, if you like this app but want to get some of the new features like voice notes or the ability to email notes and tasks, you might want to consider purchasing the full app. And please visit http://edalatpour.wordpress.com with questions/comments.
2/21/2011How do I know what version I have
