So, this is the only cc reader solution for WP right now and it works well. Sometimes you have have to go back from the swipe screen and hit the swipe card button again and swipe but other than that works well. Hoping they update app so I no longer need to turn volume all the way up to swipe cards. I've been told its a WP API issue.

Used only once for the fund raiser, swiped few times nothing happened. Finally one swipe appeared to work, but the app stayed in the processing page for a while and I had to tell the customer that it didn't work. He had to go out and get cash from the local ATM. The next day morning I see the email saying that transaction went through. At least the website had the option to refund. Wish square supported WP8. Signed in the petition

Off to a rocky start, but willing to give it a chance. After creating an account (which went smoothly), I had trouble ordering the reader. I emailed customer support, and after a short email exchange (within about an hour or so), Rep. Adam sent me the reader on the house. Earlier today I received the reader and tried it out. At first, I couldn't get it to read the cards I was swiping (I tried it with a few expired cards/gift cards just to see if it could read the strip). This was frustrating at first, it didn't seem to work, however, I quickly learned that if you make a 'sawing' motion with the card (back and forth for 1-2 seconds) it easily read the card. In my test, since I was mostly using expired cards to test the reader, obviously the app returned a 'Card Decline' message in 3-5 seconds. Thus, the app and reader works quite well when making a sawing motion. I've read a few of the comments here complaining about this or that; people to need to remember this company is still quite young. I'll stick with it

The reader came in the mail and worked on my Lumia 925 right out of the box on the first try. I like the update that allows cash, check, and other types of funds, too. Makes for a cohesive and one-stop place for all business-related transactions.

Rocky so far. When it works, it works. But when it doesn't. And you've got a customer staring at you in the face while you try and swipe their card for the 9th time... Eh.... Will update review when app and reader are more stable.

I had an iPhone and used a square and I absolutely loved the square for taking credit cards. I switched phones and got a windows 8 phone which does not support a square unfortunately, so I found the cube app to sound the most similar. Needless to say I am not impressed at all and will be going to cash/check until I can find something better. Also I had to pay $35 for the cube reader while all other companies are free. If your looking for a credit card processor I wouldn't recommend this one. Definitely look into the square or intuit first if your product you use will support it.

Tough getting started. After going days waiting for the "process," their automated process would not allow me to verify my identity. Wanted way too much information to verify ID. Waiting to return my $35 reader investment. Good luck to this startup. When will Microsoft get someone to write a decent app for their phones?

Just got the swiper Jan 2014. Works great on the Nokia Lumia 920. Money goes in my bank account in just a few days. Now I have to get the USB swiper for the Surface. It would be great to have an option to create a menu to make it easier to transact, and so the email receipt has more detail.

AUTHOR RESPONSE. All, please read the description before installing. Cube does not provide high keyed limits due to fraud risk. Card readers ($35) can be used as we provide high swiped limits. We can't provide readers for free (we are a small company) so we sell them to you at cost. Support is email only and we are happy to respond - Why do we require so much personal information? Unlike other companies we actually underwrite a full merchant account for you and this level of documentation is required. If you would like to discuss, please email me using the support address. We live connecting with our customers.

Terrible customer service. Can only do swipe not keyed in. To do key in cc you have to send a ton of personal documents (driver license ss card business tax documents and if they accept you they only give. You $50 a day limit what a joke.aparently they no longer do key in credit card transactions plus you have to buy a $35 swiper that most companies give u free
