Colorful is an augmented reality color detection application that helps recognize, tag and compare colors.
The app was designed specifically for people with almost any type of color blindness and may also be used by designers, artists and developers. Colorful is also a fun app for anyone who wishes to expand their colors-vocabulary (you may think your car is painted yellow, but may find out it is actually "golden dream").

Colorful feature list include:

* Use advanced filters that will compensate for a specific color deficiency (Red-Green, Blue-Yellow etc.)
* Detect & recognize colors in your surroundings using the device's camera.
* Detect & recognize colors in photos from your device memory or from your social networks. [Full version only]
* Save color tags for future reference and comparison.
* Save an image with the additional information given by Colorful algorithms.
* Choose the color names detail level (simple, descriptive, artistic or developer mode). [Full version only]

Tip: In order to use filters in live camera mode the option has to be turned on from the settings menu.

    Neat app but most of the time the color shown around the circle that it matches is correct but not color that it says it is. Oh well...

    Nice concept. Sometimes the colors are obviously off, but it tends to adjust rather quickly.

    Make sure you turn on the live mode filter in the settings screen. I actually can pass a color blindness test with this app! Love it.

    I love identifying colors that I like, and being able to save them makes it all the more useful!

    Pretty neat, good concept. However color matches are way off. I point it at something that's obviously white and it says grey, in fact it considers a lot of things grey that defiantly aren't grey.
