CitySourced is a real time mobile civic engagement platform. CitySourced provides a simple and intuitive platform empowering residents to identify civic issues (public safety, quality of life, environmental issues, etc.) and report them to city hall for quick resolution; an opportunity for government to use technology to save time and money plus improve accountability to those they govern; and a positive, collaborative platform for real action. A picture tells a thousand words and CitySourced makes it a snap.
1/29/2013Works fine on WP7, but closes after picture on WP8. Better update your app. A city (Escondido) near me uses CitySourced, which is great. Issues get responded to and closed in a timely fashion.
3/22/2012Not good looks like a webpage
11/19/2011I have to agree with the other reviewers who mention the awful user interface of this app. The biggest problem with this app, though, is this: You may report problems (though few people do, at least in my city), but unless the City is reading the reports, nothing will ever get done. Since my city doesn't participate, this app is useless.
11/16/2011This app was designed to resemble an iOs app. Sad. Should have used Metro to design it. I bought a windows phone because I do not like iOs UI design.
11/12/2011Great idea, terrible implementation. User interface does not embrace Metro-style design. No live tile support as far as I can tell. Settings are not customizable. Looks like a bad iOS app poorly ported to WP7.
9/1/2011Nothing is being done about the issue reported.
7/5/2011Great idea...rubbish app.
4/26/2011Great idea. Poor implementation. 1 st of all UI is horrible. Its looks ported over from iOS. 2ns of all where do these reports go to? Reporting is is great only if they are going to someone to do something about it. Until UI is fixed and this issues get solved, I'm getting rid of this app.
2/28/2011Good idea. Poor implementation. App is very buggy. Also, it doesn't look like the reports are being processed by anyone. I checked several reports in some large cities (Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, etc.) and every one I looked at was in "submitted" status, even ones reported in 2009. If no one is processing these reports then why waste my time reporting them.
