Pain to setup (not surprising--the actual printer was a pain too), but after disabling my data plan temporarily I was able to manually set the IP for the printer. The SkyDrive integration is fantastic--I printed a word doc someone emailed me by saving to SkyDrive and it just worked. Scanning and photo printing are working great too.

It's functional, but barely. I have a Lumia 520 and 920, both running Black, and an MFC-7860DW. No matter what I did in-app, I could not get either phone to see the printer. Finally saw a user review saying that she had to go into her photos, select a photo, select print, manually enter the IP address from there, and finally the app would recognize the printer. I would rate app lower except that it IS functional if you can figure out how to pair a printer with your phone.

Times have changed. I bought the Brother printer because of this free app. Just installed MFC-J4510DW and the app printed a picture through it perfectly. Initially it did not detect my printer. After I turned off phone data, keeping just WiFi on, allowed it to find the printer. Just for trying out, I also punched in IP address manually.

It still never finds my printer on my WP8 even after the recent update. even if I put in IP address manually it still dies not work. My iPhone version of the app works perfectly on same network same printer.

So far so good..had to manually enter address...took a long to find MFC-J870DW but it did. First print was a success se what happens next. Lumia920

Lumia 1020 and the MFC-8810DW worked first time right after the download. Scanned and found the printer and just printed a doc straight from my one drive. Good job!

Does not work with the 495 or 410 printers which is odd as my iPhone app did.
