    Doesn't work... Babel never appears

    Fairly good. As an OCR app, it lacks the ability to copy the read/translated text. The orientation of the photo is assumed to be landscape, so portrait pics don't work. The anon login is a must and good of them to include.

    The reason you login is that the app keeps track of your previous babels. You can store the token so that you don't have to login each time.
