Authenticator is a simple security tool that generates a security code for accounts that require 2-Step Verification. Authenticator supports any 30-second Time-based One-time Password (TOTP) algorithm, such as Google Authenticator. You can add accounts to Authenticator by manually entering your RFC 3548 base32 key string or by scanning a QR code. Application Development by Matt McCormick Graphic Design by Libby Puccinelli What's new in Version 1.5: - Streamlined user interface code base - Support for Windows Phone 8 - Several bug fixes
12/28/2013works, qr code reader needs more work though
11/17/2013Works perfectly for my Coinbase account, haven't tried Google yet.
10/30/2013Works with Google and Microsoft!
10/1/2013Really works well. I found a trick to get the QR scanning to work properly. I had to move my phone about 18" away from the monitor. Counter-intuitive since I thought closer would be better - I thought the barcode needed to fill the majority of the camera lens. It doesn't. Everything has worked for me now - setup Google, LastPass, Facebook, and Microsoft. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because when I scan the QR code, it usually inserts some additional text at the end of the alphanumeric sequence. It identifies the "issuer" - so it will say "&issuer=Microsoft..." or something else. I have to delete everything from the ampersand on. Other than that, all works perfectly, and that's not a big deal.
9/16/2013Great app to protect your account.
8/8/2013Would be nice to see time based AND strongauth support.
7/15/2013For people claiming QR scanner doesn't work: try tapping and holding on code to give camera time to focus.
6/30/2013Qrscanner does not work
