Keep track of a daily or hourly countdown to a significant date, like New Year’s Eve, a Wedding, etc... with an updating Live Tile and Lock Screen background image. You can type a custom message and select the background image from your local pictures.

Updates for v1.1.0.0:
-	Full screen image as lock screen background.
-	Remaining time in tile and lock screen is now rounded up to display the expected value.
-	Deadline can now be set up to the hour for a more precise countdown.
-       Moved deadline setting and timestamp to the front of the tile.
-       Added deadline visible setting for tiles.
-       Tile does not flip anymore.

Features:
-	Select deadline date.
-	Displays a countdown in days, hours and minutes remaining until the selected deadline day.
-	Select a picture from the Pictures Hub to be used as background of the app, and also of the lock screen image and in the wide live tile.
-	Pin a Live tile that shows the remaining days or hours. Make it wide to see also the selected picture.
-	Customize the message that gets displayed next to countdown in the live tile and lock screen background.
-	Set this app as your lock screen background.
-	Use the current theme accent color (or black) as part of the lock screen background image.

Add a live tile to the Start screen that updates hourly or daily with the remaining time to a deadline date of significance to you. Make this tile wide to show the background picture selected, or make this tile small to use less space in your start screen; either way the tile will keep updating. Set this app as lock screen background provider and your lock screen wallpaper will also update hourly or daily with the countdown of hours or days remaining, using the selected picture and, if not selected to be full screen, use the current theme accent color as background. You can also customize the message that appears next to the countdown, and the time unit to display.

    Almost perfect. Needs more metro font and need to remove "deadline: " from date -- clutters up the tile and unnecessary and doesn't even make sense in the context of a countdown. Deadline for vacation? Deadline for Christmas? Hmm.

    Love this app, does exactly what it says, love that you can edit the background on the live tile and also the lock screen.

    Nicely done! Love how the live tile automatically flips to reveal more information. I wish more apps would take advantage of this windowsphone 8 tile capability. Please fix event title text is not centered on the tile, does not wrap, and does not autoresize font , so I entered Valentine's day as an event, and the words ran off the tile. : (

    This is great. Thanks. Will need some tweaking though. E.g. Please allow to change the timer font to a plain WP font. Alignment is also a little screwed on the medium tile. Flip to date not necessary, instead cld have another countdown...

    Great app, but could you eliminate the tile flip? I think it's unnecessary, one could just open the app for the deadline date.
