It is very convenient to have access to a Kindle library on a phone. However this implementation of the Kindle software has a number of annoying bugs, only one of which really has a substantial impact on usability, but the others still are a bit of a hassle. The major bug has made it impossible for me to open one of my Kindle books: the phone cycles for a few seconds as if it is trying to open the book, but then the Kindle software shuts down, sending me back to the start screen. One of the minor bugs: someone apparently forgot to include a routine to check when Kindle is running in the background and, if you try to open Kindle again (forgetting about the instance running in the background), the software spazzes out and has trouble calling up the first screen of the Kindle app.

Hate, hate this app. This app is a royal pain. It randomly logs you out and when you log back in your bookshelf is empty, forcing you to re-download every book from the archive. IPhone app never did this.

Many pages are chopped off. You have to resize the page constantly in order to avoid skipping sentences.

It synced 1 time and never again. Very annoying that I can't read any if my new purchases. I've had it for over 9 months. :( using a Samsung focus
