3/26/2015Kindle for Windows phone is terrible - apparently designed to force you to buy a Fire phone to read Kindle books. Here are things you CAN'T do on Windows Kindle that you used to be able to do on iPhone Kindle: 1) zoom / enlarge a table or graphic (this disability makes some existing books unusable) 2) search (only way to find something is to flip thru pages) 3) highlight 4) copy I hear that Amazon has crippled the Kindle app for Android and Apple environments, too, to make their Fire phone or their Nook the only way to really use your library of Kindle books. I hope someone will create an app that restores Kindle functionality - I would rather BUY a 3rd party app than cave in to this coercive marketing from Amazon!
3/26/2015Terrible application. I bought many books on the amazon but on the windows phone I'm unable to read them. :-(
3/25/2015I have had this app for about a month and cannot even use it. When I attempt to load a book the app just takes you back to the home screen cause it crashes.
3/25/2015I love amazon kindle..
3/25/2015Pathetic. I know windows is a smaller market than Android, but Facebook gives us a decent app...i fail to see how Amazon, one of the largest companies in the planet, cannot make this similar to the Android version. It's disgusting, the differences. I love my windows phone but the Kindle app makes me long for my android again. No excuses.
3/25/2015No search function. At all. Do I need to go further with my review? I suppose I could go to the Amazon website and *send* each book manually, but in reality no search means I'm never going to use this app. Zero stars.
3/24/2015I used to love this app but now I can not buy books using the mobile app so it is virtually useless too me
3/24/2015Doesn't let me read any books. At all.
3/23/2015Works great! Thanks for supporting Windows Phone. We really appreciate it!
3/23/2015I like the kindle app for Windows phone. I hope it will be updated for graphic novel and comics soon. Adding a built in dictionary would help in some case.
