What's Shaking NZ? uses the Geonet.org.nz datafeed to monitor quakes around New Zealand. With the included Live Tile (using Windows Phone 8's multiple-size live tile feature) you can have the latest quake information right on your homescreen.

With this application you can view information about the latest 30 felt quakes from around New Zealand in either List or Map view. You can tap a quake in either of these views to see it in closer detail - and then get information about depth, time, and whether the quake has been automatically reported or has been reviewed by a technician.

Featuring settings so you can customise:
- what the lowest magnitude you'd like displayed is
- what the lowest magnitude you'd like highlighted is
- how many quakes you'd like to display, from 10 up to 30
- whether to use a 12 or 24 hour clock
- whether to use a live tile or not
- whether to see all quakes, or only those likely to have been felt

Good info, a little bit clunky to use, would be better if list info had location, and map info had some way of showing date or precedence
