CPLayer is a UPNP/DLNA compatible streaming media player. It will let you play your videos and music located on your NAS or any other UPNP/DLNA server located on your local network directly on your phone.

Notable features:
- save any server, folder or media file as a bookmark
- pin bookmarks to the home screen for quick access
- download media files in the internal phone storage for offline viewing
- music + videos hub integration
- subrip format (.srt) subtitles support
- play music in the background and under a locked screen

File formats limitations:
For a list of media codecs supported by Windows Phone, visit http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsphone/develop/ff462087(v=vs.105).aspx#BKMK_VideoSupport .
Notably, Windows Phone does not natively support MKV files. You will have to convert them to another format, such as MP4.
