WordPress for Windows Phone is an Open Source app that empowers you to write new posts, edit content, view stats, and manage comments for your WordPress site.
17/08/2014The same bad UI as in WP7.
07/05/2014Unable to log into my self hosted blog. Really frustrating. Error message suggests that url is wrong and that xmlrpc.php is missing from the end of url. Added this, still nada. There is no help either.
26/03/2014Cant post pictures without having to reconfigured webserver. Images' have to be uploaded separately for many servers. I suggests the makers of this app look at how the android versions do it. It just does not work
22/03/2014Good app, with regular updates. Used to change filenames of uploaded photos (bad for SEO) which I then had to re-upload on laptop to fix. NOW its unreliable even uploading photos at all and doesnt attach them to posts. Huh? This is from a major global wannabe CMS system! Please fix.
31/01/2014Would give 5* if it had auto-save, otherwise great app😃
27/01/2014The app is perfect. But there is no autosave function in the post editor. I lost one hour long writing just for screen timeout, that makes the post editor disappear. Please fix this to make the posting usable.
06/01/2014Much better and more reliable than the Android app.... BUT - you need to add the 'featured image' option!! It's so frustrating that I can't tag my photo as the featured image...if you only had that option, I wouldn't really have any reason to edit on my desktop. PLEASE add the featured image option 😊. 5* if you add that feature. ***ALSO...please allow us to select the desired image size when using the 'save bandwidth' option. The photos are cut down into v.small images that lose so much detail. Not v.good for a photography blog!! & the full size image uploads fail on my data connection (800kbps)
03/01/2014Visit me jonnypratt44.wordpress.com blog all about shooting!
17/12/2013It has it all and has really helped me with my website. All it needs is to allow you to upload images from your Windows 8 phone to the media library or the posts featured image and it would be prefect. The new update makes everything apart from that run better.
